Just a little rant . I finally caved in today and applied for a amex platinum cash back card. I thought why wait, my score are at a all time high and will problably go down soon ( when the balances hit). So I though, why not apply when I am still on a roll. If I get approved I will close my personal gold charge card. I can save $70 annually in membership fees and $40 for the rewards points program. Since I also have a small business gold card, it would not be a major loss. Thanks! btw wish me luck! it was not a instant decision, but amex has not let me down lately.
If it's a denial you can call 1-800-the-card and find out right now. If the phone message says still processing, that's a real indication they are considering you.
It wasn't a outright denial, it says it's processing and that I will find out in 7 to 10 business days. I have good vibes about this.
