Had EQ clean. Unfortunately, I also had a split file. Now it seems my clean file has become extinct. I called EQ today to have them at least merge the 2, but even with confirmation numbers from old reports, the woman tells me nothing comes up. Great, now I have to get off 5 collections, and a paid student loan (120+ days late). 4 of the collections are a slam dunk, I'll probably have to file suit on the 5th.

The woman aksed me what was wrong with the student loan, I told her it was listed as 120+ late, and had no DOLA. She asks," So do you want to dispute this as not mine?". I told her if that is what it takes to get it reported correctly yes.

Also had 3 good tradelines that don't appear on this file. Geez, one step forward, two steps back.

FICO went from 725 down to 638

You might want to escalate this. You shouldn't have to pay for their mistakes. Did you keep the letters showing the deletions?

    Gib,

You need a very serious lawyer.

Do you happen to have a copy of the "clean" report that you can send them?

I keep EVERY report they send me for just this reason.

Speaking of which, I think I need to get a larger Sentry fireproof box.

Yes I have copies, I can print up a hundred different copies going back to 1/26 LOL. I am going to send copies of both reports just to get the good trade lines added on. The names were different on these reports, same ss# and address. On one I was Gib Jr. and on the other I am Gib III. I never applied for any any credit using junior. Equifax just sucks and this will take take me another month or 2 to clear up, but I will clear it up.

Tip * never keep two copies in the same building.
I keep one copie in the house and the other copy in a detached garage or other building.
Better than a fire proof safe. because it's never in the fire.

Ok, pulled EQ today (minor miracle in itself) and the collection I thought I would have to file suit on was gone. Still have 4 collections in dispute that should fall off easily. Only derog I have to worry about is the freaking paid student loan showing as 120+ days late. Now if EQ would just quit splitting my file............
