i got an orchard card a while ago.

    Well it sucked $300 limit.

    I called the orchard retention # and got $500 limit.

    At least thats somewhat usable.

    don't bother with this company.

    I agree with you. I'm sooo sorry I ever applied. I did the same thing you did. Now I've maxed out this card. I'm going to pay them off within in the 2 months. Then I'm cutting it up. This is my lowest cl....I really don't need them anymore.

    well keep in mind, if you have poor credit, establishing a good account with household might come in handy if you decide to use household automotive finance later on.

    Also, theres no point in cancelling the account if you've paid the fee's. Keep it till it ages 1 year, then ask for the yearly fee waived.

    I find that having a bunch of accounts (even low limit) ratio to bad (chargeoff) seems to improve your score, contrary to what others say..
