Im so happy... Opened a mailing from citibank today with a letter stating "Your favorable credit history makes us eager to serve you." Yeah!! History: I applied for the citibank student drivers edge credit card. I got declined for the card because of a 120 day late that was showing from my MBNA credit card. I got that account DELETED! I asked a manager at citibank to reconsider my application. She said that "youll here from us in 5-7 days." Got the letter today and the only thing they need is a copy of my student id card. I called to make sure that once i send this to them...i would be approve. A rep in the applications department confirmed. Yes! (i guess my 14 inquires on transunion arent that bad after all!) Im going to fax them the information now! PSugirl

Things are looking up, credit is getting better....I think im good for now...i currently have -GM Mastercard 1500.00 limit -Household mastercard 1500.00 limit -Capital one visa 2400.00 limit -Providian Visa 200.00 limit (will be increased this month) -FCNB (spiegal charge)400.00 limit -Friedmans Jewelers charge 500.00 limit -New cell phone (verizon)~200.00 deposit -Citibank Drivers Edge (new card, havent gotten it yet) Im going to spend the next couple of months disputing, disputing, and more disputing to see what else i can get off to get my credit better. Im at the end of August, I will go for financing on a new car. I will put 5000.00 down. I will close my providian card if my limit isnt raised at least to the 1000.00 mark....only if my citibank is at the 1000.00 mark also. Will keep the board posted! PSugirl
O yeah, the rep also told me that they are going to reconsider me for the 2 other cards i applied for sometime ago: Click citi AA Plat. select Will se what happens! (thier looking at my best reprot, trans union)
Citi pulled EXP on me in TX. This is my best report by far. I got the Clik Citi AA, but the Platinum Select was not available for me yet. I'll keep working on it....
