AMEX dissed me. Can you believe that they did NOT approve me for the gold charge card after the rep called me and told me I was approved when she verified work information. The girl I spoke to tonight said she didnt understand why? Whatever! I needed to chill on the charge card thing anyway. OH WELL! I am embarrassed and sorry for sharing false information with you guys. I did receive the gold delta skymiles card today in the mail and I called and switched to the Optima Platinum rate at 9.9% credit line still at $4900. I hope that isnt a LIE also.
That same bullcrap happened to me(same card,same lie),but they know that they are in too deep with me. Sister Girl
Super Easy. I just said when I called to activate that I was afraid to fly. She transferred me to the accounts dept and he offered me the optima platinum. He said it was at 9.9% w/ no annual fee. I hope so. I dont want to be disappointed Again.
Roni, sorry this happened to you. You are not the only one - several here have horror stories of AmEx approvals that were not real.
