On 09/24/2001, the top of my settlement letter from RMA says its From: Equifax To: my fax number. Equifax probably verifies RMA accounts by standing up in their cubicle and yelling across the room.
I don't think trout checks in here much anymore but he got EQ to delete the tradeline before he closed on his house.
