I had an account with SUNCON...Now

    My wife and I had a cell phone account with suncom...part of at&t wireless blah blah blah. Anyway, Suncon overbilled 2 months in a row and since they do NOT show a detailed calling bill we called and asked for one. Suncon put us on hold, hung up on us and completely ignored our request. My wife sent a dispute letter with the normal amount she usually pays (but not what she was overcharged for) and they ignored her request in the letter for a detailed bill. Now 2 weeks later they are calling her at work and harrassing her...and get this..they are using her calling records and calling people on her phone records to harrass them as well. Our friends have been calling us and asking why they are calling them. Can we just sue the shit out of these scumbags. We had this account for 4 years and we were never late...now we dispute the bill once and these con artist want to call our friends and work. What would you do????

    Read up on the FCBA here.
    It looks like you may be able to nail them on FCBA violations, unless the are considered a public utility, in which case they are exempt. Of course that doesn't mean they know that :)
