I have never had so many negative experiences and when I say negative I mean horrible, the worst you can imagine with one company. They transferred my loan back in November and I have been pying the new company. Well somehow they didn't release it and started harrassing me for December and January payments. They also put derogs on my CR for the payments. My new company called them and told them to leave me alone and I just got a bill last week for about $2500. I called them and they said I could ignore it. The next day the derogs were removed from all credit bureaus. Now I look at TU and see they pulled a HARD on 1-30-03. How can they have any right to do this? I am not their customer and even if I was wouldn't they just need a soft? I hate them so much I never even posted the nightmare we went through to close on their house because it is almost too painful to talk about. They basically forgot to process our loan and never said anything even though both I and my rs agent were in contact with them several times after we made our offer. Needless to say our veteren real estate agent said that she will never show clients a house if they have a preapproval letter from the branch I got mine from. They were beyond ignorant and it cost me hundreds of dollars and I was homeless for 2 weeks. Our RS agent and title officer said that it was the worst transaction they had ever witnessed. Can you tell I hate them? LOL Kim
Send them a friendly letter about the $1,000-$7,500 (depending on the state) FOR SMALL CLAIMS COURT. You will let them OFF THE HOOK for a CASHIERS CHECK for $1,000 and removal of the inquiry. You could give them a discount if you get $500 by FEDEX before 02/28/2003 and inquiry removal (PROMPT PAYMENT DISCOUNT)...
Thecatslai (Kim) I know exactly how you feel. I opened an account with them on Dec 28th and within a month they messed me up so bad, now I owe money on the account(of course they deny any fault). They have horrible customer service!! I can't wait until I can just bring it up to a $0 balance and close the account. They will be getting a letter from me afterward, telling them exactly what I feel about their customer service! AnGar
Washington Mutual was doing the same sort of thing. If a borrower refinanced a WAMU to WAMU loan, WAMU would sometimes forget to cancel the old loan even though it was paid-off via the refinance. Not only were their borrowers getting lates on their credit reports, WAMU was even sending out Notices of Default. Its kind of funny when you think about it, unless of course its happening to you. I'm sure they fixed it by now. Good underwriting is so important.
