I have a problem with NCO, can someone help me?

I don't know what to do!

I had a debt with Sprint that I had an agreement with NCO about. I agreed to pay the amount in one month and NCO would cut $40 off the debt.

Now that I have paid the amount I agreed to pay, NCO says the other amount is settled with them. So now Sprint has to be notified.

Last week I was told THREE times that by NCO that they would "give this to their manager" and he would email/contact sprint and my service would be restored in "a couple of days" or "one to two days"

Needless to say, my service is not on and Sprint still has no idea the remaining debt is settled.

I do have the option of faxing sprint my receipt (assuming NCO mailed it). But my address is a state away and I would have to get my mom to mail it to me. Besides, NCO said they would fix it without me having to do anything like that.

Today I called NCO and they told me, NO she promised me that she would send the paperwork (apparently nobody had done it...) and it would be on in a "couple of days".

The thing that irritates me is that one of the ladies I spoke to last week was sooo nice and told me to call back if I had any problems. And she apparently didn't send the paperwork? Something is weird.

Any idea how NCO benefits from waiting around like this?

This is why when you deal with nco or any ca everything has to be in writing.Instead of mailing suggest they fax it.one point this well remain on your credit report unless they agree to delete in writing that should have been done before you agreed to settle.remember a wolf wag's it tail before it rip's your face off.your at their mercy and nco is a bunch of b********s

If NCO is on your reports, we delete them in about two weeks. If not, we can still handle the situation in about that time . . .
