Equifax's you have annoyed us enough we aren't allowing online access now. Gee, I just faxed a letter over, telling them that until I have the opportunity to sue them, I was exercising my right to insert a consumer statement: â??CSC has reinserted disputed information in violation of the FCRA. They have admitted that this information was re-reported in an automatic fashion in violation of 611(B)(i), they failed to provide me with notification in violation of 611 (B) (ii-iii), and they continue to violate these acts. Further, CSC is also in violation of §20.06 (e-f) Texas Business and Commerce Code.â?
I thought about a consumer statement like this but when I started talking to them about what I wanted to say they stopped me and said they wouldn not allow that to be a consumer statement. Here's what I started to say.... "Equifax has knowingly refused to delete an account which does not belong to me.....then she stopped me.......please add 200 points to the listed fico score to reflect this consumers true credit rating." She wasn't going for it. Jlynn, what type of problems are you having right now? Have you hit a snag with a hold out account? What's the details? SnakeMan
Did you tell her that NOT allowing you to add your statement was a violation of the FCRA? Did you ask to speak to manager? This definately violates the law. You of course need to document that by sending the request cmrr, but it would be a nice little addition!
Re: Re: I have graduated from... That's why I sent the statement. Kind of like "I dare ya NOT to insert it"
Re: Re: Re: I have graduated from... "IF" THEY CAN PUT A STATEMENT THAT IS NOT MINE--"CONSUMER DISPUTES ACCOUNT" (I did not dispute the account...I disputed the BALANCE 100% MAXED--$17,500 for 3 months when in fact it was not over $100 for those 3 months)---THEN THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO PUT YOUR "REAL" STATEMENT...
