In the last 2 weeks I have gotten 8 paid collection accounts (leaving 4 stubborn) and absolutely no point gain at all. I just dont get it.....
As I understand it, accounts (even bad ones), can keep your score up there if they are old enough. That might explain why you don't see a change. Although I haven't tried it, I wonder if you'd see a point gain if the account being deleted were a newer one as opposed to an older one? One thing I know for sure is that the deletion of the last derog results in the biggest score jump. For me it was 99 points on EX and 76 on TU. Keep plugging away and see what happens when the last one goes bye-bye.
7 of the 8 were from a medical occurance 3 yrs ago (recent??) and one was a 5 yrs old cable bill I never paid a ca, only OC (didnt know they had it)
