OK.. so I have been lurking and reaing for over two months and I have finally started my journey towards credit excellence... I have a subscription to my Experion and Equifax report and will start TU in a few weeks.. My approach for now is doing online validation for the old accounts that are under $200 ... next I am going to figure out how to deal with my paid collections. and afterwards I will deal with the more current derogitory stuff which is going to take some super hard work I am in the upper 500s for score now my goal is to be in the 700 club in 2 years....
Good luck to you on your journey. Just to let you know, when you say "online validation" you're mixing terms there. Validation is what you make the CA's do (this is done in writing). An online dispute is what you do with the CRA's. "Verification" is what the CRA's do when you start a dispute (whether online, phone, or mail).
