    Folks,

I'm really impressed with my new Sony Vaio. I purchased it last week and received it on Monday just before departing for a business trip that will last until the end of the month. Ironically, I also received my DSL modem and was able to surf at high speed for a few days before I kissed the wife and kids goodbye until the end of April.

I found a local access number for Bell South in the city I'm in and I'm able to access the web with this super fast, yet cool, notebook from my hotel room. If you've never surfed the web using a notebook, do it. If you can, do it with a Sony Vaio. It comes with everything you need including a docking station and the XGA screen is superb.

    Cheers for now.

P.S. It's hell being away from the family. So, appreciate yours!!

I bought a new Vaio notebook last week also. It is a fantastic computer. I would highly recommend a Vaio to anyone considering a notebook.

Ever bought a battery for one? Excluding Nasa, Sony has the absolute most expensive batteries. Who knew Lithium cost so much? OUCH!

I love my Vaio. In fact, I'm buying it a companion. A web-cam! I told my wife to go to Best Buy (no time to shop online or haggle around town) in the area we live in and buy a specific web cam that I know is in stock (I checked the Best Buy site). I did the same.
Tonight, we will hook them up so I can see my little ones' and talk to them. I'm away on business and talking on the phone isn't enough (for you business travelers who know what I mean).

We will link up at 10 PM EST. She's using the DSL connection at the house, and I'm using a dial-up at a hotel.

By the way, get in your cars and travel around our beautiful country. It's absolutely stunning.

    Bye for now!
