I know I shouldn't be doing this...

But I think I'm gonna flex my new credit score muscles just a bit and test the waters for the hell of it. I have all the credit I'll ever need for now (30k+ on 5 cards) but none of those are truly prime cards although some have prime rates and limits.

So, my question is, which prime CC's out there will be interested in pulling my 791 EX score? heh heh...

    An update:

I just pulled my TU score. The CH13 is still there, but my score has jumped from 675 to 733!! I don't know where those 58 points came from, but I sure as hell will take 'em! No significant changes since the last time I pulled TU 2 months ago.

But TU still has the CH13. I'll be autodenied by any prime lender with a bk. EX is now clean, no bk.

You could also call your current cards and ask to be upgraded to Platinum based on history of the account.
I tried with Providian, they won't budge. Perfect payments for 5 years. No reasons why. They won't increase my limit either. It's had a $0 balance for a year now ($5k cl). Maybe they figure they're not making money off of me.

CAP 1: 1 card is plat, 1 card is gold. Gold was just upgraded 2 months back, MR Cooke said to wait six months from then for more upgrades.

    DMB is Titanium ($8k cl).

Sears MC pulled Exp. for hubby, not sure if you'd consider them good or not.

This raises an interesting Q. If he obtains a prime card based on his clean EXP, what does the issuer look at come AR time? Does the TU bk7 translate into close this account?

I assume some folks out there have experience.

rhetorical Qs aside, I am wondering if its the same sorta thing as autodeny...just after the fact.

Why close it when they can jack his rate and fleece him an arm and a leg?
