I believe it was Hermit5 who mentioned that there was an ad for the Capital One "Great Outdoors Platinum Mastercard" located in Outdoor magazine. I found the ad today at the local barber shop in the June edition. The July edition does not have the ad. No annual fee Choice of 4 different outdoor pictures on the card. Offer intended for new accounts only. Call 1-888-243-8562 ------------- I believe that this card is extremely hard to get and that most people who apply will be offered a lessor card with poor terms compared to this Platinum card. I am going to PF to the executive office and ask for the 7.9% rate on my existing Platinum card when the time is right - despite the fact that it says "new accounts only".
