Yep, hurt like h3ll; no severance, no explaination, no unemployment. i have looked and looked, and I have finally gotten to the point where I am so depressed that I can barely stand myself. I've signed up with 3 temp agancies, but nada. I've worked 26 years, have a BA (which I still pay on), and all of that, plus $4 will get you a latte at Starbucks. However, I've read all of the posts, and I feel better--maybe tomorrow will be the day for me. Thanks for telling your story, and please keep posting-- Good luck!
Re: Re: Re: I lost my job today... madcat, Keep at it. Be willing to take a low level job to get your foot in the door. Interview for anything and everything that you can. Be upbeat in your interviews. Be confident. You can do it!!!
