Re: Re: I LOVE Chase! Chase doesn't award points for BT's. Last year when I signed up for the Ultimate Rewards, I was given 10,000 ponts initially! I also had a BT. It's now beginning to make sense because not everyone was given bonus points. I believe you were given 10,000 points to entice you into using the card for purchases. What better way for a unsuspecting consumer to fall into the trap of paying interest until the BT is paid in full!
Re: Re: I LOVE Chase! They didn't give 10k points, but one point for every dollar bt'd. I BT'd an odd number, like 9154 plus did $100 in purchases, so I got $9254. I do believe Chase (and the rest of em') does try to entice customers into paying higher interests on purchases until the BT is paid off. I was all HAPPY to get my first rewards card, until I realized there was no point in using the cc with my BT that I wanted to keep for the full year at 0%.

Re: Re: I LOVE Chase! They did it AGAIN!!!! I just got my new statement from CHase and they gave me points on my last BT. I don't know what's going on, but I like it. I am going to try it again. I'm going to pay off more on the 0%BT, then instead of just paying off my other CC's, I'll just transfer the balance to BT them over to Chase and see if it works again. Has anyone else who recently opened a Chase notice they are getting points on the BT?
Re: Re: I LOVE Chase! If this worked again, it would be like getting double reward points. Get the points on the Amex blue and then bt the balance to chase and get points again. I'm feeling lucky............maybe a trip to Vegas is in order!

I also bt'd everything on my AMEX blue cash over to Chase, so it was like getting double rewards. In the last few months, i've recieved over 17k in points, all in BT's. Chase is now #1, imho.

I'm up to 12K points now and I haven't used this card for a single purchase. I'm wondering if I should spend these points before they catch on?

Re: Re: Re: Re: I LOVE Chase! You guys may be sick of listening to it, but I really LOVE this stuff going on with Chase. I do my purchases on my amex blue, and then BT over to Chase. Pay off my chase, then repeat again. The offer I got with chase is 0% bt transfer with NO BT fees until July. I think by my next closing statement with Chase, I would accumulated about $350 worth of Gift cert's. And......that is not counting that I'm getting reward points on the AMEX blue. Love it!!!
