I just check the status of my investigation and it has been completed. One of the two items I disputed was removed! I started the dispute on 12/16 and today is 1/6. I am going to wait for my updated copy to come in the mail and then start another dispute by mail due to fact that I have a letter I need to send in with a dispute. FYI-if you have addresses you want removed on Equifax they update them even quicker. And now a question- Are collection accounts and accounts listed under the credit account information (neg. ones)section carry the same amount of weight when a creditor views your account????
I love the online dispute also I deleted 3 defaulted student loans in the summer using the online dispute. But I disputed items in mid november and havenot heard anything. it says still underinvestigation. I dont know. roni
