I am attempting to dispute my dh's bk7 from 96 on Exp and Eq, I'm crossing my fingers. Eq is the only CRA that does not list it as a 0 Liability/0 Asset case. On eq I also disputed 2 CA accts and 1 incl. in bk account - his last negs (626 pre-dispute/679 after dispute). On exp along w/ the bk, I disputed 1 incl. in bk acct - his last neg (666 pre-dispute/664 after). His last neg on TU is the bk, I stupidly sent them his discharge papers in dec so giving it some time before I dispute the bk w/ them (when would be a good time??) TU score - 693. I really really really want to get him out of subprime hell. Applied w/ BofA (who approved him for a 30k auto loan last month), they pulled TU and denied b/c of the bk. I pfb'd on Tues. and haven't heard anything yet. Also applied for USAA MC and our cu visa. USAA checked his eq yesterday. No word yet. Our cu has yet to pull a report and no word yet. Did I jump the gun? My dh is deployed or I would have him call to check the status. I'm nervous!! BTW when you have items in dispute, do the companys pulling your report see those accts or are they "invisible"?
I can't help you with the BK stuff, but no, the dispute stuff is not invisible, it just shows as in dispute. I've read where some cc's are purely score driven, while others do read your report. Sorry I can't be more specific, but I didn't pay much attention - with my scores I won't apply for anything. Have you been able to talk to your hubby? I hope all is well with him.
Thanks Jlynn, I appreciate your response. I did hear from my dh on Monday and he sounded well. He needs to come home soon so I stop applying for credit!! Add citi to my list of credit attempts in the last 48 hours...I'm done now I think. Must remember I need financing on my truck in Aug/Sept. Just wish atleast one of the 4 I applied for would tell me something!! Oh well, done whining (and applying) for now...and again, thanks for asking about dh, means alot.
