I have a credit score of 677 w/ 4 negative items on my credit(judgement, 2 defaulted student loans, paid chargeoff for a car). Do you know what lender I have the best chance to get a persoanl loan for school w/o getting a super high interest rate? I have about 18K in student loans left and have been current on all debt/credit cards for the last 2 yrs. Pls help if you know any reasonable lenders that help pple w/ credit blemishes. Thanks
Your best bet is to come to terms with your Uncle Sam (and the DoE). Call them up and play lets make a deal.
This is a cooking school that I want to attend. I am done w/ my formal schooling. Does anyone know of any good personal loan lenders who give reasonable rates for pple w/ credit blemishes?

I am unsure of the lenders but I do know your odds are significantly lower of NOT getting a personal loan if you have NO callateral to put up and a shaky track record. Unfortunately, 2 yrs of good payments, though positive in general probably is not long enough for a non-collateral personal loan. Your chances of buying a car or house are creater. Now, got some collateral to put on the line and you may have a better chance!
