Re: Re: I need a little help!! Butch, I followed up with Cap 1 and checked daily for several weeks to see if the card had attempted to be used. I was not issued another card, BTW. As for the friend situation, my son did not know the young man who took my card, and the other kids were on their way with him from Iowa to Arizona, (I'm in NM) supposedly to go to work, and we had to get money from the local ministerial alliance in our home town here to get them back to Iowa after this jerk split!!

Re: Re: I need a little help!! I would begin working on my letter to Cooke. I am baffled as to why Cap1 didn't follow-up when I reported the card lost/stolen. Cap1 has been reporting a debt that's not mine. Using a version of this argument will provide Cooke with a good reason to see things your way. Start by being very nice.

Re: Re: Re: I need a little help!! Yes Kelcol, I think he would. I told him I will be ordering a new Q-45 and if I can get the right rate I'll deal with Cap1. He said "be sure and ask for me". This would indicate that he does have at least some degree of inluence over the auto dept. But like I said, be sure to develop a good reason to help you. Oh - and thanks for your courtesy.
