    Hi all:

    DISPUTING the following, any TIPS??

    1) Cross Country, last activity 04/99--charge off
    2) Another Cross Country, no Date of last activity--also Charge off
    3) 1st Consumer National Bank, last activity 08/99--charge off with 0 balance
    4) 1st Premier, last activity 04/99--charge off

    5) Two accounts (electric bill and Gas bill) in Collections, last activity from 04/99 and 02/99

    6) One car installment, last activity 04/00 ( have 12 90 days late on this one)

#6 and 7 is being paid off this time, so how do I get them to get this negative off the report??

    Thanks,

    "She Bellowed!!!"

    LOL. Sorry, couldn't resist.

ahem...In my experience, the first round of disputes can be kept pretty simple; basically "nuh-uhhh". Regardless of the mix of derogatories, about half of them will fall off first try. There's no way to predict which half. A second round of similar disputes a month or two later will knock a few more off. Then you get serious and start plotting strategy against the remaining listings.

    Good Luck!
