I'm new to the site, have been looking at it for a few days, lots of help on here. I have run into serious financial problems to the point of being able to just make my house payment and keep food on the table. I haven't made credit card payments in months. I was going to file bancruptsy{I still might} but I have a vehicle thats paid off and was told that I might lose it because it's worth 6,000.My credit is already screwed up anyway, I plan on living in the house till I die so should I let the creditors put a lien on the house {I assume they can} and wait the seven years, or is there other alternatives? I would suggest you at least consider consulting a bankruptcy attorney (should be no charge) and see what your options are..... but that's just my opinion...
