Are there any websites or recommendations to get help. I am really just beginning this process of trying to clean up my credit. I seriously need tutoring. I have read many of the messages and my brain is just not comprehending any of the terms, processes, etc. I am willing to learn whatever, but I need some kind of step by step guide. Can anyone help?
this is place.. start with the intro's at the top of this discussion list, they lay out all the basics of what you'll be reading about here. There's even a glossary. Also, READ THE FCRA AND FDCPA. Amazingly, there seems to be a lot of folks who don't this. They're on the FTC's website, as well as FTC opinion letters, etc. Take heart - it won't take you very long to get up to speed.
