Ok, I'm going to go build a sleet man (its TX - ya take what you can get) with my kiddos then I will be back with a very nasty letter to Citibank who insists that he is in CCCS. I disputed, they wrote me a letter that said they would not investigate unless I sent them a copy of his credit report, and then verified this bs with Equifax. This is an open active account!!!!!!!!!!!

LMAO! Sometimes you just can't win. I'm sorry you took a hit on your scores, but hey at least those baddies are gone.

How much do you have left to get rid of?

Well, we have got to deal with Cap One. Its not showing charged off yet, just collection, some misc. lates, and damn Citibank.

The lates are pretty recent, so, I'm trying to get back on track and then goodwill them.

Once the last derog comes off you can expect to see a very big jump, that is if he has any positive tradelines on the report.

    dear Jlynn
the same thing happened to me. Last judgment came off and so did one big derog but score dropped
    about 15 points :( :(
The answewr to my email to eq about this was that "now I was being put on a different scorecard" that was higher than the wan I was in before ??! and thus I scored lower
but my credit was better !!??##@
I have 2 more derogs showing deliquent that I'm
attacking and once they come off I'm expecting a 60 point jump or I'm going to court.
    :)~

Hey Jlynn, I'm stuck in the apartment in Dallas. No sleet man for me. I'm going to heat the apartment with steam as I think about what to do with dishonest creditors and CRAs.

Hang in there! Sounds like you could use the power of the new serinity prayer ;-) My apologies in advance for all those I am about to offend LOL

    THE NEW SERENITY PRAYER

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I cannot accept, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those people I had to kill today because they pissed me off. And also, help me to be careful of the toes I step on today, as they be connected to the a@# that I may have to kiss tomorrow.

Help me to always give 100% at work...
    12% on Monday.
    23% on Tuesday.
    40% on Wednesday.
    20% on Thursday.
    5% on Friday.

And help me to remember...When I'm having a really bad day, and it seems that people are trying to piss me off, that it takes 42 muscles to frown, and only 4...to extend my middle finger and tell them to bite me! Amen.

I know the feeling. I lost a duplicate derog last week and my score dipped 2 points. Old man FICO is an abusive drunken b@stard.

Did any of his other derogs come back as "verified"? If so, these accounts probably got re-aged in EQ's scoring model which dropped his score, despite the improvements to the other tradelines. This is a clear is a violation of the FCRA.

My TU scores dropped big time during my dispute and repair process even though my report looked better and better with each dispute. We should all find a good law firm and file a class action suit against all three CRA's. This really sucks.

ROFLMAO I'm gonna print this one out, and hang it on my desk. The one deletion wasn't that old, in fact he has good TL's from 93 on his report. I have a feeling its that CCCS statement on Citi thats killing him.

Oh well, we have 2 4WD's so we are off to play on the ice!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Copy of email from Scorepower

    Dear Kalinka

If you have recently made any changes to your Credit Report and your
    score
has actually decreased, there may be many reasons for the drop. At
    FICO,
they use what are called "Score Cards"; these cards are used to group
individual information on a report with others that are similar in
    nature.

    Such as the following example:

While you had a derogatory account on file you were placed against a
different "Score Card" than the one you are in without the derogatory
    information.

The simplest form to explain this scenario is: Previously you were in
    the
'best' of a certain group; the group you were included in may have
    been of
higher risk to potential credit lenders. However, once the derogatory
element dropped off your report, you moved to a different comparison
    group,
where you are now in a better overall group, but with lower than
    average
    standing.

Note that accounts which have gone into a derogatory status but were
subsequently satisfied (e.g., paid charge-off, account paid after
foreclosure started) still have a derogatory event associated with
    them,
which results in a reason code indicating delinquency and will continue
    to
    affect the score.

Also, be aware that if you have recently disputed items reporting on
    your
Credit Report and they have not yet been resolved with the creditor
    then
they are not calculated into the score. Your credit score may have
appeared to drop, but you will need to wait until the disputes have
    been
resolved with the creditor to get a new score of the credit information
    at
    that time.

Should you require additional information, please contact our Customer
    Care
department and a score representative will be glad to assist you.

Thank you for contacting us. We appreciate your business.

Ok, so I should tell DH he is now the worst of the best instead of the best of the worst?

That oughta make him feel better.
