Re: Re: Re: I really need higher scores!! HELP! I'm not sure, probubly more new credit will lower your scores more, since your balance are at zero, your ratios are not high like you say, so there won't be nothing to balance out, meaning ratios, i'm sure someone here can better answer that question, but new credit is probubly not a good idea, don't forget every time you apply for new credit they pull a hard inq, which can lower your scores. =) Have you tried a goodwill?
Re: Re: Re: I really need higher scores!! HELP! Ok, well If I shouldn't apply for new credit what can I do? Help!?!?!?
Re: Re: Re: I really need higher scores!! HELP! How about joining a credit union, would or could this help in anyway?
Re: Re: Re: I really need higher scores!! HELP! Getting new credit isn't going to help you- you already have plenty of good revolving lines. It'll actually probably hurt because then the average age of your accounts will be less. What is keeping your score down is Providian. I'm assuming you disputed this as "not mine" and it came back as verified. Seeing as how it's so fresh, you're going to have a hard time getting rid of it. You could try one of the nutcase or goodwill letters but again- it's probably still too new. Your scores aren't entirely horrible by any means- getting this 1 derog off might bring you to the 700ish level.
