This is the letter we just got from one of the CA's that is listed on our credit report. We did not ask the CRA's for verification yet! We did apply for a mortgage a couple of weeks ago. What in the world does this mean? I replaced names and numbers....It also looks like some of the words and numbers were messed up in the scan. Always always opt out before applying for a mortgage. As George says, the cockroaches come out. Speaking of roaches is this the first time you have ever heard from them? From your post, the letter seems to violate the FDCPA
