Just got a 'pre-approved' offer for a Gold MasterCard with a 9.9% fixed APR from First Premier. Of course it has the following fees: Account set-up Fee $29.00 one time charge Program Fee $95.00 one time charge Annual Fee $48.00 Participation Fee$72.00 annually (billed at $6.00 per month) and if I want a AU for the wifey $20.00 No mention of a starting CL. So, if I go for it I will owe right off the bat $78.00 I thought I reached prime when I got the likes of Bank One Signature Visa, Chase World MC, AMEX Blue, AMEX Green, BofA Plt, US Bank, MBNA Plat. Plus and First Tn. Must be the 633 FAKO score that is showing on my PG report is what triggered this great offer! Of course all the accounts are new and the Green, Signature and World do not show a CL. So it looks like I'm maxed out. I tell you I get no respect.... Best regards, Mirage
Well Mirage, you have officially arrived at the pinnacle of the credit world First Premier is still ignoring me...........LOL
Re: Re: I tell you I get no RESPECT... BradJ, I never gotten any offers from them during my bk-13 years! If I read the insert correctly, there is a charge for online payments? I understand fully that lending in the sub-prime world is a risky venture but these guys are crooks! Nothing like taking an advantage over people who have very little options. Best regards, Mirage

Re: Re: I tell you I get no RESPECT... Mirage, Amazing isn't it?. Even for subprime, charging an internet access fee of $3.95!!!! Where do they stop with all those fees?? For the people who can least afford it, this is the most expensive unsecured card I think I have ever seen. Sheesh and they were absent during your BK-13 years and now they solicit you to sign up for this crap. Amazingly stupid of them.
you are better off putting all that money down on a secured card ...you will not lose it, .. you will build a + credit history ...you can look forward to having it become unsecured, with a + TL for a good length of time
