That is excellent advice but be careful that it does not kill the deal. The housing market is very competitive and buyers are plentiful.
Are those the only two choices? Perhaps, a third is: Or, do you just elicit questions like this from the inconsequential? I'd like to welcome all new members to the forum.
Actually, I was trying to elicit an answer from you. In answer to your question, no, I guess those aren't the only two choices. I wouldn't say anyone on this board is inconsequential, and if I thought they were, I probably wouldn't elicit a question from them. So if you weren't born this way, and you didn't practice for years, what is the source of your contentiousness?
Wait a minute, are you saying that you are contentious in order to elicit questions from the inconsequential? I will ignore the implied insult, and merely suggest that perhaps you could find a more productive way to spend your time, and our time as well.
I'm enjoying your conversation with you and hate to interrupt, but your questions are based on the presumption that I'm given to arguing for the sake of arguing. That is a highly subjective attribute. If I see something that doesn't make sense, I question it. My opninion is that that's not contentious. You're wrong. The premise of your questions are wrong. Many times the answer to the obvious question never comes. That tells me that that acceptance of claptrap is greater than ever, and that charlatans are reaching even greater heights of deception by their sheer audacious blatancy. The thread is about buying a house, not me. Stay on the subject, or start another thread. If you, or the person about which I make a statement can't respond, too bad.
Just a note to add to this. When I started the loan process scores were 623 (Experian), 631 (equifax), 562 (transunion). When the loan was finally given, my scores were significantly lower due to the number of inquiries. There were like 10-12 on my reports from different lenders my broker went through. I read somewhere that the cut off for "good" rates was 620. My median score is now 613 after all the inquiries. Did I get pushed out of a good mortgage by the number inquiries my broker had the lenders run? Parul
Parul While your scores will allow you to get a conventional mortgage with a few lenders, it will eliminate you from the majority. That, unfortunately, was the case with your original scores as well. What type of mortgage are you looking for? Also, have you looked into an FHA mortgage as they are not score driven the way conventional mortgages in general are. If you wish to discuss your situation in a more personal manner, then I would suggest you email me off board as some of the required information and questions would be way to personal for a public forum like this. Good luck in your quest. fla-tan
Sign under protest... Exactly. When you sign the escrow, write that you are signing under protest for excessive fees. Be sure you that you think you are getting ripped off first. If they escrow closes close to the estimate, then awesome.
