Well, with all my efforts to clean my reports, and doing so on Experian and Equifax, looks like I just cut my own throat with trying to get an auto loan. Just got an e-mail notification from Equifax. When I applied with People first, who I thought would pull an Experian, which they did, they also pulled Equifax. No big deal there, but I after I saw they pulled Experian, I foolishly applied with Lending tree as well. Well, Lending Tree not only pulled Equifax, the lender who Lending Tree submitted my stuff to "trans south" also did so. So now I have two inquiries for one denial. One inquiry I could live with, 3 sucks. Man, all that work down the tubes. Like Supershawn said, with 3 new inquiries there, the dealership is likely to smell a rat and pull all 3 now, and my TU is messed up. Well, one very stupid man is going to go to bed now and think how he just destroyed all his efforts from the past year. Guess I'm driving junk for another year. danrs
