In the spirit of giving, I would like to ask all of you here just this one favor...

I have an EQ score of 645. This bureau has a chpt 13 BK from Oct 1997. Also it has a paid C/O account with Ford. Only thing left thats bad is a few collections that are relatively old and medical. The most recent was this last spring.

I DO have though, 4 good paid accounts never late and 1 closed account never late.

    Here is what I want...

I want the instant gratification that can only come from a computer approving you for something of value. I want to know if anyone here knows of any credit card, department store, or the like with an instant online approval system that would approve someone within my ballpark.

    What do you think? Anyone?

I need a quick esteem pick me up if you will.

    After all, it is Christmas!

    Snakeman-

The Chriostmas would be merry, but every month after that would be a fight with the credit cards that would approve a 645 score on line.

Orchard Bank comes to mind, so does Cap1.

Better to let Santa have the problems, not you.

    Thanks Gifr.

I want to know too if I qualify for any department store accounts.

    I already have Cap1.

I have a high risk car loan.

I have a first premier card.

    I have a AMEX (AU)

I have a closed Rogers and Holland (paid/never late)

    Whatcha think?

I wanted to get one retail card to maximize my scores potential. I was approved by Sunoco for a gas card. Does this count as a retail card?

Merry Christmas to you as well.

I have not posted here in a while because after 3 months of doing nothing but credit repair, I was burned out.

Good news is that I have accomplished all I can at this point and I need to wait a few months before doing anything else.

I was able to get rid of everything bad excluding TU's BK and judgments. They are my only hold out as of now and I will dispute with them again in time.

EX is almost perfect other than Cap1 not reporting a good account like they should. EX has dropped 15 judgments, 3 BK's with 1 left, 18 collections.

EQ has dropped 4 BK's, all judgments, all but 2 collections. No foreclosure.

TU has dropped 3 BK with one left, all but 7 judgments, all but 5 collections and the mortgage says nothing about foreclosure. Also, I disputed 37 inquiries with them a month ago and they are all deleted as of 2 days ago.

So, I will try to be here more often now that I had some rest from credit stuff and will hopefully be able to offer my opinion to those of you who may need some help.

Go to your report and place everything negative in dispute status and apply for a Target card. This trick use to work with Target and citibank. Let us know if it still works.

I would but for some reason whenever I try to dispute online with EQ it prompts me to call them.

Maybe because I have already disputed lots of items?

$800? Should be able to get a pair of shoes, 6 shirts, four pair of pants and a few socks at Dillards with that limit.

Just kiddin' man. I love Dillards. I have a $1000CL there. I love the clothes they have and once in a while I may splurge on myself (no jokes please) but I just can't see paying $80 for a nice Oxford shirt, although I would love to.

I do find some great deals on the clearance racks for my toddler though. Great deals.

    Have fun with your card.

    Congrats.

Eventually, we will move back down to Florida and away from this god forsaken state of frozen hell.

When we do, maybe I will actually visit a "Dillards". There is none in Michigan.

They got the right idea it seems.
