I want another citi card how long

you can apply right away

 

I applied for the silver and after I got it in the mail, I immediately applied for the gold.

 

you are allowed to apply twice in a 2 month period. So if you only have applied once you're o.k.

 

This month, I applied twice for the Citibank card (Silver/Gold). Both were approved.
Not knowing the application restrictions, a week later I applied online for the Citibank world card, but received the "we'll notify you through the mail message."
At first, I thought that I wasted another hard inquiry applying for the World card, but now I'm not sure. Hopefully, Citibank did not process the application and thus did not pull another inquiry on me.
Does anybody know for sure if this is the case??

I got a letter from citi stating that I was only allowed to applications within a 2 month period. That was the only reason I got denied a card.

Did Citibank pull a hard inquiry on your third application? I checked my Equifax report this week (I applied on 10/5), and there was no other Citibank inquiry besides the one they originally pulled in September. Hope it remains this way.
