I wonder...

    If someone were to fill out a UDF and then send it to the creditor/ca along with the letter of validation saying please provide proper validaton (excerpts from Wollman) or in the alternative, complete, sign and fax the enclosed UDF to the three major CRA's and include the fax number and names to be faxed to if that would get any results at all. If everything was completed except their subscription codes and signature...it might nudge some of them to do that rather than going to the trouble of trying to dig up old records or fight it out?

    Am I daydreaming here...lol?

    I definately think you have a point there. A lot of times they are just lazy so if the form is there they might be inclined to just send it in. It is one part wishful thinking and one part playing on the laziness of the CA's. If you have a copy online you mind emailing it to me as well. I'd like to take a look at it.

    I too would like to see what a UDF form looks like.
