Wait a minute. I signed up and I didn't know about the hard inquiry. I have a report dated the same day I signed up and it does not show although it could have been generated earlier in the day. I'm mad already at TU and Identity Guard because I was told by a phone rep at TU that the only way to get my score was to get it online. I looked, page by page, link by link, for a way to do it and the only option was IdentiyGuard. Now I see that the so called score is a joke and is 80 to 100 points too low. Also, I happen to know that changes were made on my file between the time I signed up for Identity Guard and now. They are supposed to send an alert (I have mine going to my cell phone) when changes are made. Well, guess what. NO Notice. Has anyone else had these problems and if so have you gotten them resolved? It's after 6pm here now so I'll have to wait and call them tomorrow.
If you get a HARD for requesting your credit report, just dispute it!!! A HARD CAN ONLY BE PUT ON WHEN APPLYING FOR CREDIT!!!
TU won't accept inquiry disputes. No way, no how. That's why I've asked everyone to file online FTC complaints. You too, George Saar
