You would be SURPRISED on how many people DO NOT sign their card or even write CID, etc. I see it all the time. I remember once a co worker was paying for lunch and didn't sign their card and I asked why and they stated: "Oh...because I don't want someone else to be able to use it. If they see that it is unsigned, they will ask for ID". Wow...I was blown away. My reply to that was: "Well...when you loose your card, a thief will get it and sign YOUR NAME and guess what? When shopping they won't be asked for ID because the signature will MATCH!" DUH!!!! They were like, OH....yeah, huh? Stupid...

Personally...I don't mind when a clerk asks to see my ID, but sometimes I'm bugged by it because I don't want them all up in my business (i.e. know where I live, when my bday is, etc.). I'm just waiting for credit card companies to stop playing reindeer games and just go ahead and move to having to use a PIN w/ your credit card. Simple fix...case closed!

I WOULD GO FOR THAT IF I CAN PICK IT...

So every CREDIT CARD would basically become an ATM/PIN NUMBER CARD???

    DON'T SIGN ANYTHING???
    NO ID!!!
DON'T FORGET THE PIN THOUGH...(NO EXCEPTIONS~~~NO WAY AROUND THE PIN)...
