i had a closed checking acct. with bank. they turned it over to collections. well i went into the bank and paid the acct in full and the ca updated as paid. does that seem right seeing how i never even talked or had any type of communication with the ca?
Yes...if the account is paid, its paid. They are supposed to update to the current status of the account. Even if you paid the original creditor. L
