Hold on!! That's not what it says!!! They can't use credit alone to refuse to issue or renew a policy, or to cancel or non-renew you. Credit still influences your rate, and believe me, that alone can be a denial - they price it so high you can't or don't want to pay it. I have seen folks, in states with similar laws, with perfect driving records, the right age - everything perfect - get a substandard rate due to poor credit.
