To get TU to remove inquiries don`t ask them tell them. Make a copy of the page with the inquiries and highlight the ones you want removed and mention this is the last effort to get these removed prior to filing. Be blunt and to the point.

This worked for me they removed 12 inquiries

How many INQ's did you dispute at a time?

Twelve, when I tried to dispute them online and by phone I got that "we don`t investigate inquiries" and then I sent the letter and a copy with the inquiries highlighted. About a month later a new credit report came with a listing of inquiries that were deleted. I think they want to follow equifax, but if you are serious enough in your letter they back down.

    Good Luck

Wow, that must have been your lucky day.

But -- nope, that's not how they operate. In 99% of the cases, nothing short of a lawsuit can be that effective.

But hey, it doesn't hurt to try. Just don't keep your expectations too high. Especially when their creditnet spy ought to be around.
