I have a message on my machine from RMA. They were delted from my reports over a year ago when I cleaned up everything for my mortgage. They were deleted on some old DOLA of 1995 collection, they tried to reage but it was all cleaned up and they were deleted. As far as I know they are still deleted. Why would they call me out of the blue? Is this common? Should I just ignore them? I believe that they cannot report anything and I am done with them. Do they just call every now and then for the heck of it?
I love these guys :0 I sued them twice, they still call me! Its funny to me now Anyway, it turns out, like most collection agencies, the accounts dont really "go away" when paid or settled etc. YOU are still in the database and every once and a while, the "account" is "run accrossed" ans some newbie doent read ALL the account notes (the terminals they use show one page at a time like the old monochrome machines) So they look at it quickly, see it hasnt been paid, not bothering to look at the notes that say "we were bad-dont collect" and you get a call With these poop-heads, the debt was probably "recalled" a long time ago, and they HAVE NO RIGHT OR AUTHORITY to collect. IF ignoring them is not enough, contact the original creditor and see who "has" the account IF its not RMA (PURPAPJAX as their tradeline says- JAX short for jackass) can be in violation of law
It is indeed RMA in their whole sears-rma project. It was a pain to get it deleted because they reaged it but I proved that and it was finally deleted over a year ago. I think they understand that they cannot report it and wont. After dealing with them and experian it was finally resolved. I guess them leaving me message every six months or so is ok. Theres really nothing else they can do. lol
OOOOOHHHH!!! Hey, email me if you are interested in a current class action against Sears hiding90@hotmail.com
