Tomorrow I am going to file my lawsuits:

    1) vs. a CRA regarding inquiries and willful refusal to investigate. Demand: deletion and $1,000. Settlement: deletion and (court costs). Small claims court.

    2) vs. a CRA regarding inquiries and willful refusal to investigate. Demand: deletion and $1,000. Settlement: deletion and (court costs). Small claims court.

    3) vs. a collection agency. Charge: willful violation of the FDCPA on three occasions. Suit: $3,000 for violations, $500 costs and debt, $500 lost wages. $5K. Filing in district court. Settlement: Deletion and $1,000.

    4) vs. a collection agency. Charge: willful violation of the FDCPA on two occasions. Suit: $2,000 for violations, $500 costs and debt, $500 lost wages. $3K. Filing in circuit court. Settlement: Deletion and $1,000.

    5) motion to vacate judgment based on no service. Filing: district court.

    6) vs. a collection agency. Charge: willful violation of the FDCPA on five occasions. $5,000 for violations, $500 costs and debt, $500 lost wages. Filing in circuit court. Settlement: Deletion and $2,000.

Is this all reasonable? Should I file all six of these suits in one day, or spread them out? Don't want the judges to deem me frivolous. I'd rather get 1, 2, and 5 done ASAP if needed and wait for more violations and damages on 3, 4, and 6. Final thoughts? The cost for each filing is going to be $20. I also am hiring a process server for each at $35 a pop. So $55, plus mileage, research time, etc.

I believe Lizardking said not to file all the suits on one day. The CRA goons would compare notes, etc.

good point. i'll just file one CRA suit in small claims and have trial set for one day, file a collection suit in circuit and have trial set for a different day, and have my motion to vacate heard in district on yet a third day.

then i'll file the other 3 suits and repeat.

My mother owns a second home in a nearby city, I also rent studio space in yet another nearby city.

Is it appropriate to use three cities for filing, or not?
