I keep disputing a pd slma collection, and they keep duplicating it. My EQ has now tanked from 637 to 574. Since I've disputed at least 3 times in the past year, should I just send an intent to sue? I'm so mad right now
Well ... take a deap breathe Trina. It's not unusual for things to look especially bleak just before you hit pay dirt. It may very well get to the point where you may have to file. Most cases settle out of court tho. At this point we need to ask ourselves the following question; "Since I've been disputing for a whole year now, 3 times, they may have gathered the impression that I'm long on talk and short on actoin. What must I do now to releave them of this misconception". Think about it. Also, tell us some basics about the account so we can see if we can help. Cheer up kiddo. .
it's a pd collection that sallie mae sold back to ISAC. It's now showing up as FOUR accts all w/120 day lates, one closed by consumer (sallie mae), one pd collection (ISAC), the others w/0 balances but all those lates. I only had one loan.
I am thinking about calling tomorrow to walk someon there thru my report and following up via email, fax and CMRRR Any thoughts? or previously helpful contacts (I heard R Holland is on leave)?
Sounds like a plan Trina. Just take careful notes and memorialize your convo. http://consumers.creditnet.com/straighttalk/board/showthread.php?s=&postid=401476#post401476 GL, Let us know what happens. .
