To make a long story very short. I have several trade lines from Sallie Mae that should have been removed due to the seven year limit. The accounts were transfered to another service provider and I was in default status until I entered a rehabilitation program. My last payment to Sallie Mae was before 2000. I wrote to sallie mae requesting validation of my last payment date, as they have my DOLA listed as 2004. They responded with a letter saying they have no record of payments after 2000. I wrote back again asking that my trade lines be corrected. They responded by again saying that I did not have any payments after 2000, and this time they included an account statement. The statement shows that my payment was as I stated and that interest charges continued to accumulate until the account was transfered in 2003. What is my next step? What should I mail next?
