I am over $9,000 (at 13%)in debt to MBNA. I negotiated with them and now give them $125 a month. As you can imagine this doesn't put a dent into my bill. The wierd thing is they sent me a letter from some particular person saying they could cut my debt total almost in half right around the time I was negotiating the $125 a month payment... Unfortunately, thanks to the post office, I didn't get this letter until much later after the time they said this particular offer would expire... so I figured I would try contacting them about this a few months down the road (after some consistent payments on my part). My question (finally) is has anyone ever had or heard of a similar experience?
