My apologies for a simplistic question . . . In the process of validating with a CA. Received my green card and disputed online. The account has a notation "This item is currently being investigated" based upon my request with the CRA. I have read in many of the threads that the CA is supposed to mark the account as in dispute. Is this a notation separate from the one mentioned above? (I realize that if they choose not to pursue their claim then they may not notate the account, but just curious as to what I should be looking for.) On another note . . . I'm still not completely clear on the long term validation process. Let's say that the CA does not validate the debt within the 30-day CRA reporting deadline (after I've disputed with the CRA) and the TL is deleted. Can the CA validate with me on the 31st day and then put the account back on my CR? Thanks!
