Are there any rules for in house collector calls? Meaning the actual creditor's collection department contacting you to pay a late bill?? A friend of my wife's is only 21days late on her car payment and the creditor's collections department keeps calling her at work even though she tells them they cannot call her at work.

I know the FDCPA doesn't apply to the original creditors collectors using their own name.

Is there any law that can make them stop contacting her at work?

BTW the company is Household Auto

    Thanks for the help!

I know whenever we are late with our car payment ( which is Americredit) they will call the house 2 or 3 times during the day, call my wife at work...theres times theyll call 8 or 9 times during the course of the day.

I can tell you both from experience since my car is financed with Household and my truck through Americredit that they both are financing-creeps who never heard of charging less than 24% interest on a car loan.
