Looking to get that Apple G5, has anyone here had luck with (MBNA) Apple financing? The computer geek in the store told me that he thinks it damn near impossible to get...???? Also wondering if it's installment or revolving credit?

My roommate got Apple financing last year. No idea what her credit scores look like, but the girl had 17 different credit cards maxed out (over $50,000 in debt) and with only 3 years of credit history. So her credit can't have been that good.

Hopefully someone else has some first-hand experience to share.

pretty easy to get, typical low scorers will fall in the 24.99 to 28.99% APR with $1500-2500 line of credit. Once you are almost near prime you can get 19% and up to $5500.

If you are superprime you'll get a better APR.

I've had 3 apple loans, $1500,2500,5500, all rolled into my mbna visa. The visa was 8.9% fixed with 0% BT's thrown at me every week.

Logically it makes no sense to use the mbna goldoption loan if you can qualify for a credit card.

Since then i've gotten an mbna ebay card, and ibs ACFederal mastercard. I don't use them anymore cause i got bored.

I have Apple Instant Loan for almost three years. I applied on-line and got approved instantly and they approved me for $5500 and 12.99%. Later, I asked for lower apr and they lowered to 10.99%. I heard it is tougher to get right now and they don't give you good rate. They approved my brother for $3000 with 17.99% APR with no bad credit/
