Is BofA or MBNA harder to get or are they about the same.

Waited for BofA decision on credit app for about 6 days.

    got approved

    I'm still waiting on MBNA

Who do you think is more generous with credit lines
BofA gave me 3500 (which made me more than happy just to get in the door.)

I'm hoping for the same with MBNA because both of these sure beat Providian, First Premier, ETC.

All the BofA and MBNA card holders please let me know.

My scores are in the low 600's, so some of you with these scores please respond.

    thanks

MBNA denied me based on too many inquiries (4 at the time including theirs) with a 700+ score. B of A approved me immediately for $8800 CL.

Now MBNA sent me a letter saying they needed proof of employment to approve me (after denying me 2 months ago). I sent them a paystub, but who knows??

BofA only 37% of MBNA...BUT BofA has given me like 3 limit increases...MBNA~~~NOTHING!!!

They are both pretty responsive to PFB and reconsideration if you get denied by the computer. I got shot down by b of a online then got a 20k platinum after calling for reconsideration.

Maybe I should'nt get my hopes up....but why is it taking so long if it is going to be a denial.

Before when I applied it did not take long for me to get the denial letter in the mail.

thanks to all who reponded, sure does let me know alot of information.

I will let you know the outcome when I find out.
