Hi all, I just received balance transfer checks for my Cap One platinum card. They are offering a balance transfer rate of 1.9% for the life of the transfer (i.e. until the balance is paid off) with no transaction fee. This is a phenomenal offer and I wondered if anyone else here has gotten it. Is there any trick I should look out for? Does Capital One actually honor the "life of the transfer" promise? Thanks,
I haven't seen that low of an BT offer on my Cap. 1 card, I usually get 5.9% BT checks. I'll do you one better though. I heard on the news this morning that Cap. 1 is offering a fixed 4.99% card on purchases (4.99% fixed on BT as well, plus no BT fees). Only for the best customers though, just off the top of my head, I'd say the following people should be getting solicited GEORGE LKH WILLGATOR MARCI LBROWN59 RON Probably alot more, but this is for starters
Well, that's definitely impressive. I bet you need a 800+ credit score for that one - lol! Funny, I started in 1998 with a $59 annual fee, $200 limit classic card. But for Creditnet, I'd still be there...
