    Hey Gang,
My EQ is currently an inflated 763 due to disputes. Are there any cards that are instant approval score driven so I can take advantage of this? I know GM, Target Visa, and AMEX have been talked about. Will they read the report or is this score an approve without looking into it? Any feedback would be appreciated...want to strike while the iron is hot!

Just to follow up, I did the 3 card thing with Corvette, GM and Union Plus. Got instant approval on the UP for 4k but the other two said they were reviewing my application. So, apparently the UP is purely score driven and the other two aren't. Amex also gave me a "we'll get back to you"...so I'm not optimistic about that. My real EQ score is probably more like 630 so its a 100+ point bump.

Was the points bump based on your disputes to EQ, or validations to OC's/CA's with "item in dispute" as the results when you verified?

Will, Thanks for the ray of hope! I guess I figured if I got that message it meant they were gonna hand-review my report and see all those negatives in dispute and deny me. So, there is some possibility still.

Tiger, The score bump was just all disputed items as far as I can tell. It's a huge bump thats why I figured I'd take a shot while I can. Right now I'm stuck with 300 cl 18.9 First Premier and Household Bank cards. Getting the Union Plus makes it a lot easier to get rid of a couple of those (although I hate to close positive tradelines and they are all never late...but high annual fees).

Also, I got a target guest for $700 but was denied for the Visa. As most people said, the visa isn't score driven only. Must count negs...

I know these rates may go up and limits down with AR pulls but still I'll be better off than I am with the crap cards I have now.

Funny, I disputed with EQ yesterday and no score bump. What gives? Did it take a little while?

I'm not quite sure how the bump works, but I disputed the day before...got an alert from CW Gold telling me of status change. Went in, found the accounts marked as disputed and went over to myfico and pulled. Thats when I found the score and nearly fell off my chair!!

It took like a week for my score to change due to disputes. I pulled it 2 business days after listing the disputes and no jump in score, then pulled 5 business days later and there was about a 40-50 point jump.
