Ok, I am going to report what I was told today. My daughter's boyfriend worked at Verizon until June of this year. He worked with many areas, one being the person who a merchant would call for approval. You know, those little booths, etc. in the malls and such. Anyway, he would feed in the information and get the credit score and he informed the merchant. He said 590+ was a yes. He said that it never showed whether someone had a previous bk or not (or any other negs) on the screen, simply showed a number. Now maybe it's only his area or whatever, but I am just reporting. It doesn't seem to go with what we know, does it? So, take it as you will.
